The tubing pup joint is a short section of tubing. Compared with the tubing, it is only different in length, and the rest is the same. The lengths are: 0.25m, 0.5m, 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m, 3m, 3.5m, etc., which are used to assemble the downhole pipe string. The casing is the same.
Like the tubing, the tubing pup joint is divided into non-thickened (NUE), thickened (EUE), with couplings or without couplings, and there are many types such as male buckle + female buckle, male buckle + male buckle.
